What is Podcasting?

Podcasting is the method of distributing multimedia files, such as audio programs or music videos, over the Internet.

Note: An Apple iPod is not required to listen to podcasts.

We recommend using Apple iTunes to listen to these podcasts that is available for both Microsoft Windows and Apple OS X.

Episode 1 - Personal Information

This episode covers the topic Personal Information, and includes key vocabulary - pets, introductions to the presenters, a profile of Tobey Maguire and a rhyme. It can be used with pupils in Key Stage 2 and 3, and there are some interactive exercises to accompany the podcast.

This episode covers the topic Interests and Hobbies, and includes key vocabulary - sports, the presenters' hobbies, an interview with the French assistant and a sports quiz.

This episode contains Christmas related information. It includes a description of Christmas in France, in both French and English, plus a French Christmas carol. It is suitable for use with Key Stages 2, 3 and 4.
