Rawmarsh City Learning Centre runs a number of activities during the school holidays every year. Here you will find out about upcoming events and details about past events.
Circus Skills
W/C 30th July 2007
Age 10-14 years
Roll up, roll up for a 5 day workshop, which will teach young people the skills of circus performance.
Activities include plate spinning juggling, stilt walking, diablo, tight rope walking, ball balancing and unicycle riding.
The week culminates in a grand circus performance to which parents and friends are invited.
3D Computer Animation
W/C 20th August 2007
Age 12-16
This is your opportunity to design and develop your own individual character using 3D software. You can then create a short, animated film clip featuring your character.
Addictive Music
W/C 06th August 2007
Age 10-14
The Addictive Music team are back to lead workshops that could include music production, making musical instruments, dee jaying, digital photography and art.
Anything could happen, but it's sure to be a great challenge!
T Shirt Design
Tuesday 21st August
Age 9-16 years
Come along for a one day workshop where you can create a unique piece of clothing.
Using the adobe photoshop software you will create a design, print it out and have it ironed on to a white tee shirt.
There is a charge of £5 for this activity to cover the cost of tee shirts and transfers.
Mask Making & Art
W/C 13th August 2007
Age 10-14 years
Come and make a new identity for yourself. Doug Thompson, who did the make up for our horror film, will be leading this workshop. You will be able to create a variety of masks using lots of different mediums, so come along and be creative!
