Aims & Objectives
The main aim of the sessions were to teach the children how to create a website using Adobe Photoshop Elements and Macromedia Dreamweaver.
How was it achieved?
The sessions were run by CLC staff with support from the Primary School Teacher. Each week they used CLC laptops and equipment to design and develop their webpages, these webpages were then linked together to form a final website.
Timeframe
Working in groups of 2 children over 8 an week period the children developed a website to advertise the national coal mining museum, including the history of the industry.
Age group
These lessons were delivered to year 5 and 6 students, although they could easily be adapted to suit any age range.

Outcomes of the Project
The children created a finished website with text, images and hyperlinks to the internet. They all managed to link their pages together and worked well in small teams to complete the tasks set.
